Aimable Rukundo
Aimable, currently the Chief Digital Innovation & Projects at RSwitch Ltd, is an information technology professional, with a Bachelors in Computer Engineering and Information Technology and Masters in Science & Information Technology from Carnegie Mellon University. Over the last 17 months, Aimable has been leading a team in the implementation of a payment switch with high performance and scalable to interconnect all financial services providers in Rwanda and crossborders.
He is an experienced and results-driven Software Architect with a proven track record of designing and Implementing complex Software Solutions. With over a decade of experience in the tech industry, he specializes in creating scalable and robust architectures that align with business objectives.
Previously a dedicated developer, designing, and delivering high-quality Software solutions of different scales from low, medium to large in different markets namely Rwanda, Japan, Germany, etc. He was a proficient full-stack developer and passionate about creating and leading efficient, maintainable, and scalable applications.
His deep technical expertise, coupled with strong leadership gained from his role as CEO & CTO of the biggest software company in Rwanda and currently heading the digital innovation and projects at RSwitch and Communications skills allows him to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and drive successful digital project outcomes.
