Nowadays, arts and entertainment like movies, music, fashion, sports, etc., have got enormous influence in our society, especially among young people, by shaping their jargon, fashion, role models, their perception of sexuality, perception about God and Godliness and generally their views about what modernity is all about.
 
Therefore, secular entertainment can mould the families, the Church, the future leaders, and generally the world. The concern is that most secular entertainment encourages UNGODLINESS by propagating immorality in society, and if left to its devices, our children's future is doomed. The Church should not just sit and watch BUT arise and work towards ensuring that God's values are introduced and reflected in the different forms of entertainment by deliberately nurturing talents and promoting Christian inspired movies, fashion, art and drama, comedy and music so that instead of being influenced, we influence the world. Colossians 3:17 states: "And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.
