Youth Arise Day 2 Revival Service: Whom shall I send?

Pastor Didier opened the gathering in the word of God, Isaiah 6:8. He said that if all the youth go out saying “Here I am, send me” the goal of the Youth Arise conference will be achieved.

Pastor Didier

Pastor Didier welcomed brother Noblesse, Brother Noblesse shared his incredible journey to becoming a missionary in South Sudan. After attending a conference in 2011, he felt a strong calling from God to preach the Gospel to the Larem people. These people had unique beliefs, highly valuing cows and seeking spiritual guidance from witch doctors. Despite the challenges of communication and a 99% illiteracy rate in the village, Noblesse was determined to bring the message of salvation to the Larem community. He learned their language to facilitate better communication during his evangelistic efforts. The focus on evangelism and discipleship in schools bore fruit, as many young people embraced the Gospel and grew spiritually.

Missionary Noblesse and Pastor Didier

Pastor Didier led the congregation into a powerful prayer for God to send the laborers, and may people all around get saved and that the light of the Gospel shine in all Africa. He then welcomed Missionary HUDUMA James.

Missionary Huduma James

Missionary Hudma James shared his heartfelt grief over how often believers fail to embrace the power of their calling to spread the Gospel. He reminded the congregation that salvation is a free gift from God and that sharing this gift with others should be a natural extension of their faith.
He emphasized that our calling is a source of power and blessing from God, and it is meant to be shared with others. The joy of salvation is fully realized in both ways when we know Christ and proclaim Him to others. Partnering with Jesus in spreading the Gospel is a transformative and purposeful mission that aligns us with God's plan for our lives.

James mentioned that a great failure in life is when you succeed in the wrong assignment.
Missionary James continued outlining five reasons why preaching the Gospel is an obligation for every believer:
  1. Repaying the Debt: Romans 1:14, he explained that sharing the Gospel is a way of repaying the debt of grace and mercy bestowed upon believers.
  2. The Gospel holds the power of God to transform lives.
  3. In the Gospel, God's righteousness is revealed to humanity.
  4. Preaching the Gospel is a sign of being filled with the Holy Spirit and becoming witnesses for Christ.
  5. It is our responsibility as believers, as emphasized in Luke 24:47.
With the help of scripture, Isaiah 6:1, 5-6, Missionary James explained how Prophet Isaiah in the Bible responded to God's calling. Isaiah first encountered God, saw his own sinfulness, and was purified by God before accepting his ministry.
Similarly, when God transforms our lives, it is to equip us for the calling He has placed upon us. The four principles of transformation - personal, possible, profitable, and continuous - highlight the ongoing journey of growth and obedience in our calling.
As the conference came to a close, Pastor Didier prayed fervently for the congregation, asking God to empower the youth to become fearless witnesses wherever they are placed.
