Mountain of Intercession Day 3

On the third day of the Africa Haguruka 25th Edition Intercessory Sphere, held at Calvary Wide Fellowship Ministries, we began with an opening prayer, inviting God to be in the midst of our congregation. This was followed by an exuberant praise and worship session led by the worship team of Calvary Wide Fellowship Ministries. Pastor Ruhagararabahunga Eric, the moderator of the day, guided us into a powerful session, highlighting the satanic altars mentioned the previous day and emphasizing that prayer can destroy these altars and their sacrifices. He reminded us that we have a God in heaven who is above all. He then called upon Bishop Safari Theodore to lead us in a prayer session focused on destroying satanic altars and seeking the power to pray. The Senior Pastor of Calvary Wide Fellowship, Apostle Christophe Sebagabo, welcomed all the pastors of ZTCC and the speakers of the day.

Theme of the day: Role of diaspora and people of African descent in rebuilding Africa. Isaiah 49:12

Subject 1: How can the diaspora and people of African descent build collective resilience and spiritual solidarity with communities in Africa through intercession?
Speaker: Apostle Yemi Adiphalace

Apostle Yemi Adiphalace began by expressing his gratitude to Apostle Paul Gitwaza for his impactful work and visionary efforts with the Africa Arise initiative. Reflecting on his journey, Apostle Yemi recounted his 2007 trip to Rwanda, where he prayed fervently for the nation and sought divine intervention to raise intercessors who could stand in the spiritual gap for the country. During these prayers, Apostle Yemi experienced a profound revelation where God revealed seven satanic altars. Determined to seek their destruction, he faced a daunting spiritual battle, particularly while dismantling the fourth altar. In this intense moment, he encountered a large bird staring at him, which he discerned as a manifestation of the genocidal spirit responsible for the tragic events in Rwanda in 1994.

African Intercessors Should Pray Prayers Connected with the Prayer of Christ

Apostle Michael Adeyemi Adefarasin explain how African Intercessors should align their prayers with those of Jesus, the senior intercessor

Intercessor should intercede in Godly way and Unceasingly

Intercessors must intercede in a Godly manner. African intercessors, in particular, are called to align their prayers with those of Jesus, the ultimate intercessor, to dismantle satanic altars. Furthermore, intercessors must pray unceasingly until they see tangible results and take action accordingly.

Luke 18:1-3
The parable of the persistent widow

1 Then Jesus told his disciples a parable to show them that they should always pray and not give up. 2 He said: “In a certain town there was a judge who neither feared God nor cared what people thought. 3 And there was a widow in that town who kept coming to him with the plea, ‘Grant me justice against my adversary.’ 4 “For some time he refused. But finally he said to himself, ‘Even though I don’t fear God or care what people think, 5 yet because this widow keeps bothering me, I will see that she gets justice, so that she won’t eventually come and attack me!’” 6 And the Lord said, “Listen to what the unjust judge says. 7 And will not God bring about justice for his chosen ones, who cry out to him day and night? Will he keep putting them off? 8 I tell you, he will see that they get justice, and quickly. However, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on the earth?”

Conclusion
Apostle Yemi emphasized that Rwanda holds the spiritual altars of Africa, a great responsibility that must be carried and borne by the intercessors of Rwanda. He stated that the genocide against the Tutsi in Rwanda was an evil mission aimed at destroying these altars. Therefore, Rwandan intercessors should rebuild the Lord's altars that were destroyed by evil. This is the time for Africa to rise and prosper, and it should begin in Rwanda, which hosts Africa's altar.
Subject 2:  What strategies can be used to mobilize and coordinate prayer networks focused on intercession for Africa?
Speaker: Bishop Titus Masika

Bishop Titus Masika started expressing his gratitude to Apostle Paul Gitwaza for his impactful work and visionary efforts with the Africa Arise initiative. He added that God has given him the gift of a mobilizing campaign. He highlighted the five level of intercession and how intercessor should approach them

Five levels of Intercession
  1. Spiritual warfare (John 1:12). At this level you pray to receive sonship power that sanctifies and cleanse your hearts and wash away sins. At this level you also receive power to defeat sins and over the workshop of the devil.

  1. Interceding for the Family (Job 1:4-10). The Bible illustrates that Job prayed to sanctify his children because they would often hold feasts. At this level, intercessors take on the responsibility of praying for their family. Whenever you pray, always bring your children and family before God.
  2. Interceding for your Clan. At this level, intercessors address curses circulating within their family. They pray to destroy ancestral altars that have brought generational curses upon their family and clan.
  3. Interceding for the community. Here, intercessors pray for their community and country. They are tasked with destroying satanic altars such as witches and sorcerers that cause generational curses such as poverty within communities. Intercessors must pray with faith until God brings about change and action within the community and country. They must pray with a focus on tangible results.

Nahum 3:4-7
4 Because of the multitude of the whoredoms of the well favored harlot, the mistress of witchcrafts, that selleth nations through her whoredoms, and families through her witchcrafts. 5 Behold, I am against thee, saith the Lord of hosts; and I will discover thy skirts upon thy face, and I will shew the nations thy nakedness, and the kingdoms thy shame. 6 I will cast abominable filth upon you, make you vile, and make you a spectacle.
7 It shall not pass that all who look upon you will flee from you, and say, Nineveh is laid waste! Who will bemoan her? Where shall I seek comforters for you?” 8 Are you better than No Amon? That was situated by the river, that had the waters around her, Whose rampart was the sea?

Interceding for Nations. At the highest level, intercessors pray for nations, seeking divine intervention in global issues. They strive to break down spiritual strongholds and promote righteousness and justice on a larger scale, influencing entire nations through their prayers.

Q&A session

  1. When you want to fight against the altars you need to know the protocol. Could you tell us one or two of these protocols that you can use when you are called in the area, how do you deal with things in that area?

Apostle Yami Adiphalace reminded us that the kingdom of God is about protocol like entering his gate with thanksgiving. Everything we do as christian has protocol. You can’t go before the king without proper protocol. So, the demonical altar is situated in a particular place. In scripture we find Moses sent spies and Joshua sent out spies to do assessment of spiritual mapping of the whole territory and they came back with reports of what they have seen. Jericho was an altar at the gate of promised land.
So to deal with that you have to do spiritual mapping, what entity is holding, what did it get there, what is the original sin that opened the door for that entity to come in. When that sin is repeated it becomes a strong hole and sustains principality, and principality advocates principles that influence the life of the people. So you do the spiritual mapping to understand what opened the door for the entity to enter. The next thing you do is what we call identification repentance because repentance God accepts breaks the legal right of the enemy in that place. For Rwanda I had the different tribes come with me and we did a lot of identification repentance at those altars. At the fourth altar the principality over Rwanda was broken. So identificational repentance that means you are identifying with things that cause the thing in that place. Finally you deal with covenant because an altar is the place of covenant. You have broken the covenant and then you build the altar of the kingdom.

    Scripture: Isaiah 26

  1. You highlighted 5 levels of intercession and some people are still at the level 1. How  could we reach the level of interceding for the nation and whole Africa?

Bishop Masika reminded that focusing on spiritual warfare is crucial because it is all about receiving power over satanic forces. The power received at level one carries you through the other levels and helps you intercede for your family, community, clan, and nation. Majoring in spiritual warfare, which involves gaining power over satanic forces, enhances other levels of intercession as you progress.

  1. How do we build the altars in our country and in the whole africa?

Bishop Masika emphasized that when building altars, we should not consider country borders, as these borders were established by colonial powers, but rather focus on our cultural similarities. Despite the borders, many African countries have shared issues. Achieving success at an international level is a complete success at all because brethren from different countries form one body in Christ. When building altars at the continental level, we disregard borders, join our strengths, and intercede for the entire African continent.

  1. Our prayer has to be mixed with the prayer of Jesus. Does God pray?

Christ is the mediator and intercessor, ever living to make intercession for us. As the high priest in heaven, this is his continuous role. As referenced in revelation 5:8, The golden incense symbolizes the prayers of the saints. The prayers of Christ and the prayers of the saints are mixed together, highlighting the necessity of agreement in prayer. The Bible tells us in Genesis 22 that God instructed Abraham to sacrifice his beloved son, foreshadowing Christ's sacrifice. Abraham's obedience allowed God to send Jesus Christ, as heaven and earth had to be in agreement. Prayer is giving God permission to perform His will on earth. Therefore, actions in faith and what heaven desires must align for God's manifestation. Faith is the spiritual currency required to transact with heaven.
