Dumi Lopang is the Business Development Director of the AICC. An industry astute Kingdom entrepreneur with an impeccable record in the establishment of businesses from Etel, a telecommunications company focusing on prepaid solutions, Pixal Communications Africa which exploits telecom opportunities in the continent to the multiple award winning Yarona FM  and recently, crafting the turnaround strategy for the newly acquired advertising giant Horizon Ogilvy and Mather, and newly established YHM Outdoor. By having a good eye for opportunities and investing in ambitions and nurturing potential, he has been involved in multiple projects of great influence and significance such as re-branding Vista Cellular to Orange Botswana and spearheading Exponential a $10 million project that has changed the Gaborone skyline. As Executive Director of Yarona FM, Horizon Ogilvy and Mather, Integrate Public Relations, YMH Outdoor, Radio Phoenix Limited (Zambia), Echo Publishing and YMH, Dumi is overseeing establishment of a media group projected to list on the Botswana Stock Exchange in a few years – one of the many projects that define his entrepreneurial prowess.
Dumi is also Vice Chairman of Scripture Union Botswana, an NGO that focuses on the spreading the gospel in schools. He further mentors a number of young entrepreneurs in his home country and has recently established a network to help young entrepreneurs to access angel funding for social entrepreneurship projects in Botswana.
