Education

It is widely accepted that Education plays a vital role in the economic, scientific, social and human development of any country/continent. Like a fountain of knowledge and technology today, Education occupies an important place in shaping the future of humanity.

Consequently, most developed nations consolidate their positions as the most delicate knowledge-based economies to gain a competitive edge over others in industrialization, space exploration, information technology, biotechnology, energy, and other fields. However, the current literacy rate in SubSaharan Africa is estimated at 62% compared to 84%, which is the world average. Currently, the education systems in Africa epitomize "knowledge but not character, science without humanity and commerce without morality", the result is a failure to provide what our society needs through the education system.

Therefore, the church's responsibility is to take the lead by developing and promoting transformative educational systems that will nurture a responsible, knowledgeable, and an innovative critical mass of God-fearing people who will champion Africa's transformation. As the Bible states in Ecclesiastes 7:12; "Wisdom is a shelter as money is shelter, but the advantage of knowledge is this: Wisdom preserves those who have it."
