Isezerano ry'umunsi: "FATA UMWANYA UBARE IMIGISHA YOSE NAGUKOREYE MU BIHE BYASHIZE. KUKO IBINDI NGIYE KUGUKORERA BIRAHAMBAYE."

Promise of the day: "Take time and count all the blessings I have bestowed upon you in times past. Because more I am going to do for you is extraordinary."

Itangiriro 31:45-48

[45] Yakobo yenda ibuye, arishinga nk’inkingi. [46] Yakobo abwira bene wabo ati “Nimuteranye amabuye.” Barayazana, barema igishyinga, basangirira kuri icyo gishyinga. [47] Labani acyita Yegarisahaduta, Yakobo na we acyita Galedi. [48] Labani aravuga ati “Iki gishyinga ni umuhamya hagati yacu uyu munsi.” Ni cyo cyatumye cyitwa Galedi.

Genesis 31:45-48

[45] So Jacob took a stone and set it up as a pillar. [46] He said to his relatives, “Gather some stones.” So they took stones and piled them in a heap, and they ate there by the heap. [47] Laban called it Jegar Sahadutha, and Jacob called it Galeed.[a] 48 Laban said, “This heap is a witness between you and me today.” That is why it was called Galeed.
