Apostle Dr. Paul Gitwaza
Apostle Dr. Paul M. Gitwaza is a distinguished leader among religious figures in Rwanda and across East Africa, renowned for his deep-rooted commitment to the Word of God. Dr. Gitwaza founded Authentic Word Ministries, a pivotal force in fostering transformation and reconciliation in Rwanda following the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi. The ministry is dedicated to cultivating authentic disciples and uncompromising leaders who possess integrity and exceptional organizational skills. These leaders are equipped to elevate their families, organizations, communities, and nations to unprecedented levels of excellence and achievement.
Under his visionary leadership, Authentic Word Ministries has launched 135 Zion Temple Celebration Centre Churches worldwide. These centers span continents, located in Africa, Europe, North America, Australia, and Asia, boasting over 20,000 members. Dr. Gitwaza vision extends beyond spiritual realms; he established the Trust Capital Investment Group, diversifying into microfinance, event management, real estate, and more under the Authentic Development Agency umbrella, including educational institutions, hospitals, and a renowned Christian media house. Apostle Dr. Paul Gitwaza, is also the founder of Africa *Haguruka* Initiative, launched August 2000 in Kigali, Rwanda. This international Christian *conference* aims to awaken Africans to Christ-centered living and their roles in Africa's transformation. With over 10,000 attendees annually and global online reach, it fosters kingdom insights for Africa's spiritual, social, and economic advancement.
In addition to leading Authentic Word Ministries, Apostle Dr. Gitwaza was the President of the Alliance of Evangelical Churches in Rwanda, representing 53 denominations and ministries. He is an active member and Convener of the International Coalition of Apostles based in Texas, USA.
Apostle Dr. Paul M. Gitwaza has also served as President and advisor to various international bodies, including the Church Council of World Relief and Peace Plan Rwanda.
A devoted family man, Dr. Gitwaza is married to Pastor Angelique Gitwaza. Together, they are proud parents to three sons.. Through his multifaceted ministry and vast impact, Apostle Dr. Gitwaza continues to inspire and lead with passion, dedication, and an unwavering commitment to excellence.
