Bishop Dr. Titus Masika

Bishop Dr. Titus Masika (OGW) is a distinguished faith leader, evangelist, and revivalist with over three decades of dedicated service in mobilizing the Church for Mass Stratified Evangelism across entire districts and counties. A key proponent of CIM's Mindset and behavior change model, he has been instrumental in championing economic empowerment initiatives and value-based transformational leadership. Dr. Masika is the author of the Empowered Biblical Worldview (EBWV) Model, which is central to CIM's Operation Mwolyo Out (OMO) and other community transformation programs focusing on sustainable development through mindset change.

With a rich background as a retired high school principal, Dr. Masika brings extensive educational leadership experience to his role. He holds a PhD in Transformational Leadership from the Global University of Lifelong Learning (GULL University), which enhances his capability to drive positive change at both individual and community levels.

Key Contributions
Dr. Masika has made several significant contributions throughout his career. His Empowered Biblical Worldview (EBWV) Model has mobilized communities towards mindset change, greatly impacting economic empowerment and sustainable development. Over the past three decades, he has led the Church in large-scale evangelism, covering entire districts and counties. He spearheaded Operation Mwolyo Out (OMO) in Yatta, Machakos County, tackling water and food insecurity and dependency syndrome. Since its inception in 2009, OMO has become a benchmark for climate change resilience, food security, and economic empowerment, benefiting over 6,000 households in Yatta and many more nationwide and regionally.

Achievements
Dr. Masika's achievements are numerous and impactful. He has implemented CIM's Empowered Worldview Model in various regions, including East Pokot, Kitui (Kwa Vonza), Makueni (in collaboration with the County Government), and Tanzania (in partnership with World Vision Tanzania). He has collaborated with the University of Nairobi's African Drylands Institute for Sustainability in curriculum development and training for students. As the founder and Bishop of Victory Life International Churches, he has played a pivotal role in spiritual leadership. Dr. Masika has also served as the chief trainer and consultant at CIM's Model Training Center, hosting a wide range of groups including NGOs, INGOs, government bodies, universities, and international representatives.

In partnership with the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) East African region, Dr. Masika has supported youth engagement in agriculture through CIM's African Youth in Agribusiness for Wealth and Employment (AYAWE) initiative. His work in Northern pastoralist communities with CIM's Peace and Conflict Model has promoted alternative livelihood options and resilience practices to break the cycle of conflict and dependency.

Dr. Masika is also an accomplished author, having written three books based on the Empowered Biblical Worldview model: "Triumph through Disappointment" (2002), "Donors Ourselves" (2009), and "Mindset Change for Community Transformation" (2016).

Awards and Recognition
Dr. Masika's contributions have been widely recognized. He received the Presidential Award of the Order of the Grand Warrior (OGW) in 2023. In 2022, he was honored with the Pioneering and Innovations and Mtumishi Bora of the Year awards by the Kenya Christian Professionals Forum (KCPF), as well as the County and Town Excellence (CTE) Award. In 2015, he received the Lion of Judah Award from the Evangelical Alliance of Kenya (EAK). Tearfund's Global Network of Inspired Individuals Award honored him in 2013, and in 2009, he received the Honor and Excellence Award from the Kenya Church Conference. Earlier in his career, he was awarded the Excellence Award in School Management by the Ministry of Education, Kenya in 1996.
