This 24th gathering of Africa Arise is a testament to our commitment, and it is a prophetic gathering aimed at sensitizing, directing, learning, growing, and uplifting one another as we embark on a collective journey toward a brighter future for our beloved continent.
For many of us, this gathering represents an occasion to celebrate the remarkable progress and potential of the African continent. Africa's history and culture have left an
indelible mark on the world. This rich tapestry of identities has given rise to a unique sense of unity among the people of Africa.
By attending this conference, be remindful of the vast diversity and rich cultural heritage that Africa possesses, such as cultural diversity, dance, songs, artistic worship, spiritual manifestation, warm friendliness, friendly smiles, hospitality, solidarity, entertainment, and encouraging speeches, all this echo the heavenly ambiance.
Since the creation of the earth till today, Africa has been a centerpiece of the Creator and the world’s system:
Historically Africa was great, but why today is there a big gap between the past and the present?

Since the creation of the earth till today, Africa has been a centerpiece of the Creator and the world’s system:
- Africa a centerpiece of God
God, the Creator, after creating heaven and earth, chose the portion where Africa is located today as a portion assigned to the first couple (Adam and Eve) as their homeland known as: “The Garden of Eden”; this Garden was located specifically in the Land of Havilah and the Land of Cush (modern Africa) - Africa a centerpiece of the world
- World civilization
Ancient Egypt emerged around 3100 BCE when the first pharaoh, Narmer (Menes), unified Upper and Lower Egypt. The civilization was situated along the Nile River and encompassed a long period of prosperity and cultural achievements.
Notable achievements of ancient Egypt include the construction of the pyramids, such as the Great Pyramid of Giza, built as tombs for pharaohs, and the development of a complex religious and funerary belief system.
Hieroglyphics, the ancient Egyptian writing system, provided valuable insights into their history, society, and culture.
- World civilization
- Africa, Continent of refuge (safety and hospitality)
Abraham, the father of faith, became an economic migrant, he moved to Egypt with his household during the famine and they were saved from the surge of the famine.
The African King (Pharaoh) blessed and enriched Abraham.
Due to royal gifts, he had sheep, cattle, male and female donkeys, camels, male and female servants, silver and gold.
If Africa was not there to save Abraham, we do not know what would happen to the multitude of believers who have embraced the faith of Abraham (Judaism, Islam, Christianism).
Jacob and his family were living as strangers in the land of Canaan, but the great famine was over the face of the earth except for Africa, and all countries came to Africa to buy food items (I believe European, Asians and other parts of the world sailed to Africa for food.
Jacob also and his family migrated to Africa for a better life, and they were preserved. If Africa were not there, the family of Jacob was going to perish. Thank God for Africa!
Jesus Christ, our Lord, Savior, and Messiah of the whole world was brought to Egypt when King Herod wanted to kill Him while he was a baby.
Remember, the angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream and directed him to the country and continent where they would find better treatment and safety.
The angel said: saying, Arise, and take the young child and his mother and flee into Egypt (Africa); why not in Syria, Turkey, Jordanian, India, the UK, America, or China, but to Africa...? The continent of protection and blessings - Africa, the matrix of a great nation “Israel”
On this continent, the Israelites became a nation and were later emancipated to the land of Canaan. Israelites (Jewish people) are African.
“Are you not like the people of Ethiopia to Me, O children of Israel?” says the Lord. “Did I not bring up Israel from the land of Egypt...” - Amos 9:
Historically Africa was great, but why today is there a big gap between the past and the present?
- People can have different answers and points of view to this question.
We do not assume to have all answers, but we have one that can help us to peel the onion.
The problem is “the mentor”
The problem is “the mentor”
The reason why our topic is: "Africa, Who is Your Mentor?"
When we ponder the question, "Africa, Who is Your Mentor?" We are confronted with the essence of our identity, our values, and our aspirations. As we look within, we find that our mentors are the shoulders upon which we stand.
What are our past, our today, and our future’s shoulders? Remember, our shoulders are those heroes and heroines who have left indelible marks on our hearts and minds.

Who is your mentor?
Yesaya - Isaiah 48:17
This is what the Lord says—your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel: “I am the Lord your God, who teaches you what is best for you, who directs you in the way you should go”.
These coming seven days, we will evolve around this verse, applying it to each mountain of the sphere of influence: “Family, Religion, Education, Leadership, Business, Media and Celebration”
After this conference, you will know the right mentor Africa deserve.
I wish you all the best during this conference, where we will discover who really should be a true mentor for Africa.
