Africa Haruka #25 Opening CEREMONY first service: Rise and Build Africa as One Nation Under God

In a vibrant celebration of faith and unity, the Africa Haruka #25 Opening Ceremony first service set the tone for a transformative event, embracing the theme “Rise and Build Africa as One Nation Under God,” Nehemiah 2:17 and Ezra 10:4.

The ceremony commenced with an inspiring session of praise and worship led by Asaph International, creating a spiritually uplifting atmosphere that resonated throughout the gathering. Pastor Emmanuel GBEREKPEE extended a heartfelt welcome to attendees from both near and far, setting a tone of inclusivity and warmth.
Following the worship, the congregation engaged in a moment of offering, dedicating their tithes and thanksgiving. This act of giving was followed by announcements that seamlessly transitioned into a profound honorific welcome for the spiritual father of the house. With great reverence, he acknowledged the delegation accompanying him, further enriching the sense of unity and purpose.
The highlight of the occasion was the introduction of the day’s preacher Apostle Wyatt FABE, apostle Paul GITWAZA began his address with a reflection on his father and shared nostalgic photos from the past. Apostle Wyatt expressed deep appreciation and prophesied blessings upon Zion Temple, acknowledging the significant contributions of Apostle Paul Gitwaza, the spiritual father of the house.

Drawing from 2 Timothy 1:1-18, Apostle Wyatt delivered a compelling sermon centered on the necessity of a Godly heritage. He emphasized that just as Paul provided comfort and guidance to Timothy, so too must we recognize and cherish our spiritual heritage. Focusing on verse 5, he illustrated the process of godly heritage, tracing the lineage of faith from Timothy’s grandmother, Lois, to his mother, Eunice, and ultimately to him, all nurtured by Paul’s mentorship.

Apostle Wyatt outlined five key elements essential to a Godly heritage:

  1. A Godly heritage needs to be prayed through continuously
  2. A Godly heritage needs to be passed on-don’t hold on to long obey God when it’s time to handover.
  3. A Godly heritage needs to be perfected, as highlighted in 2 Timothy 1:14 and Ephesians 2:8.
  4. A Godly heritage needs to be protected, as referenced in 2 Timothy 2:2.
  5. A Godly heritage needs to be preserved or maintained.
Encouraging the congregation, Apostle Wyatt drew parallels to Paul’s encouragement in his letters, urging everyone to protect and preserve their spiritual inheritance. He concluded with a prophetic vision of a supernatural river flowing from Mount Hermon, symbolizing an outpouring of divine grace and unity and encouraging all not to miss the revival service in the evening and go with an expectation that God is going to meet  your needs.

The service was brought to a reverent close with a closing prayer from Apostle Paul Gitwaza, further sealing the blessings and intentions of the day. This significant service under the theme “Rise and Build Africa as One Nation Under God” was a testament to the strength and unity of the faith community, poised to embrace the divine call to build and strengthen their spiritual and communal bonds as Africans.
