Apostle Dr. Paul M. Gitwaza
Through scripture Isaiah 48:17, Apostle Dr Paul Gitwaza began by emphasizing that God created the earth, but man established the system as the world. He explored history, by explaining how Africa is an integral part of God's creation, as evidenced by its association with the ancient lands of Kush and Havilah, believed to be within the Garden of Eden. Moreover, Africa holds a unique significance as the birthplace of humanity, with the first Homo sapiens, revealing God's intricate design for the origin of our species.
One of the pivotal moments in Africa's history was the "Out of Africa" migration, when people ventured from Africa to the eastern regions, including present-day Iraq. This migration marked the dispersal of human civilization. Throughout the ages, Africa boasted magnificent civilizations, such as the illustrious ancient Egyptians led by pharaohs. Their advanced scientific knowledge allowed them to construct awe-inspiring buildings with massive stones that even modern technology struggles to replicate. Esteemed African historians, Sheikh Anta Diop and Joseph Ki-Zerbo, have vividly illustrated Africa's grand and powerful civilizations, unparalleled by any other continent.
Among the remarkable African kingdoms were Kush, flourishing around 70 BC, and the Kingdom of Axum, which adopted Christianity in the 4th century and stood as a prosperous trading empire. While facing challenges, such as the arrival of Islam, Africa's cultural and historical richness remained evident. Notable empires like Mali, ruled by the legendary Mansa Musa in the 13th to 16th century, showcased Africa's prowess in governance, wealth, and influence. Great Zimbabwe, with its impressive stone architecture, further demonstrated Africa's ingenuity in various fields.
As we embrace this knowledge through history stands as a testament from the dawn of humanity to the flourishing civilizations and powerful empires which make Africa's journey a reflection of God's divine plan for humanity to thrive and prosper.
If Africa was developed and equipped then WHY IS AFRICA HOW IT IS TODAY
When Africa began idol worship, Africa began its fall!
In the time of Abraham, the African pharaohs were known to have knowledge of and reverence for God. However, as time passed, some African kingdoms began to delve into the practices of witchcraft, sorcery, and idol worship. On the other hand, in contrast to Africa, Europe had experienced the spread of the gospel for around 500 years, leading them into the period of Renaissance where they embraced evangelism and scriptural teachings. This was evident through the translation of the Bible during the time of Luther.
Africa, who is your mentor?
A mentor is someone who can lead you either onto the right path or the wrong path. When you have a good mentor, you tend to become a better person, but when your mentor is bad, you might end up becoming a worse person.
The mentors Africa Had:
The first mentors for Africa were the colonizers. Originally, God's purpose for the Europeans coming to Africa was to mentor Africans in knowing God. However, their motivations shifted when they discovered the wealth and resources present in Africa. Greed and the desire for African gold and raw materials led to the partitioning of Africa through the imposition of artificial borders. The colonial powers exploited African resources, enforced labor, suppressed African cultures and traditions, and subjected African people to the horrors of slavery. These actions had significant consequences, as conflicts and wars arose due to the diversity of cultures and languages within Africa, and the continent lost its autonomy.
The second mentors for Africa were African fathers who fought for independence. Mentors are the shoulders we stand on; these heroes and heroines were our mentors, harboring anger towards God, white men, and history, and rejecting the teachings of the Bible, as exemplified by figures like Kwame Nkrumah and Patrice Lumumba. Instead, they sought solace in native gods, driven by the deep scars of pain, frustration, and anger caused by the implications of a White Jesus and White Mary in everything related to the gospel. These angry mentors suppressed and oppressed their people, perpetuating the circle of pain, hindering Africa from its construction, humility, peace, forgiveness, and advancement.
If/When Africa Accepts God as Its Mentor, Africa Rising Awaits:
Indeed, God is the heart of everything!Just as It is hard to build a house when you have removed the heart. Similarly, as the next African establishment may be working towards the economic advancement of Africa, any system without God will ultimately be in vain and A heart without God can become selfish and susceptible to theft.
Absolutely, It is essential for Africa to return to God, build upon His principles, and work towards Him while accepting His guidance to receive salvation and blessings. Embracing spirituality and seeking divine guidance can play a crucial role in the journey of Africans, leading to a more meaningful and successful life. Such spiritual alignment can result in true fulfillment and lasting achievements, not only in individual pursuits but also in collective endeavors that contribute to the growth and progress of the entire African community.
Ultimately,It is time for Africa to accept God as its Mentor, to root its foundation in faith and divine guidance, and to pave the way for prosperity and growth.
