God Will Bless African, A Blessing That Will Change the Way the Entire World Perceives the Continent

Apostle Solomon, a renowned evangelist from South Africa prayed and declared blessing on the African Continent that will change the way the entire world perceives the continent during the morning service of the 8th and last day of Africa Arise Conference. Quoting 1chronicles 4:9-10 he introduced his teachings with the life and blessings of Jabez and later spoke about different bible personalities who went into a lot of trouble and later God demonstrated that  he had not forgotten. He prayed that God restores the honor of Africa as he did for Jabez.

As he said, the story of Jabez is a story of name that was not change but his whole narrative was changed. The story starts with the honourable end of Jabez who was more Honorable than his brothers. thereafter narrates that in the beginning, he was named sorrow. He called the name of the lord because his name meant pain and sorrow and he was aware that he wanted God’s blessings. As Solomon explained could have be a mentor/rabbi, who told Jabez that God could change his narrative. Here are some of the reasons why Apostle Solomon believes God will bless Africa:

1. The name of Africa Among other nations of the world denotes pain and sorrow and poverty but Africa will feed the world.

In most of nations Africa denotes world denotes pain and sorrow and poverty but Africa will feed the world. He said he came to tell the church that the end will be better than the beginning. Its reapers will be better than Its sowers. There will come a time when Africa will feed the world. When Jabez heard about God, when somebody told him that only God can change his narrative he prayed and Africa is praying.

2. It might take time but this will happen: Apostle Solomon said that all we know is that he heard that God could do it and prayed without additional details. He needed a narrative change and he was aware that he need transformation in his heart and transformation would take him to another level. He prayed and God heard his prayer. Another person who knew he needed God was Gideon but when God went to him, he looked down on himself but God chose him.  The same happened to David who was constantly forgotten by his family without knowing that he would be chosen to be the king .

3. The Kind of prayers Africa should pray: The prayer of Jabez was very important. He didn’t specify a single type of blessing like a house or a car. He prayed to be blessed wholly. The God of Jabez can rewrite our stories in a way that our end can be better than our beginning. He can provide blessings that go with us wherever we go in a way that we can even be blessed in a desert. The blessing of God powers us to prosper without any condition.

4. Blessings are more than one specific tangible thing but they take time. God wants to bless us on a level that is beyond something like house, a car etc. There is a deception in specifying one single type of blessing. When nobody understands but only you and God know what God said; stick to that.  Jabez lived modest conditions and his brothers would look down on him but he waited. Remember when David went to the battlefield and his older brothers rebuked him but little did they know they were talking to a King!  Live for an audience of one. It does not matter what people say.

5. You need a mentor who speaks to you consistently as you face battles! When there is a blessing of God is on your life, the devil becomes invisible. Before that, you pray and ask friends to pray for you, you see the devil everywhere. But comes a time when they throw you in the furnace but you do not burn because the fourth man is with you. When they throw you in the lion’s den you either become invisible or the lions become invisible.  That is why you need mentor; not a person who tells you one word but a person who speaks to you consistently.  

6. Remember Greatness attract troubles. When Jesus was about to come, Herod killed children. When Daniel fasted 21 days, he woke up to the prince of the air. If you sit and do nothing, you will be experiencing nothing; but the moment you standup and say God use me, Demons will wake up to stop you.  That is the reason why Jabez did not only prayed for blessings but also protection through the blessings.

6. God’s hand in your life will manifest through speed. Apostle Solomon declared that the hand of God be upon will be upon the whole church and reminded that when the hand of God comes to you it brings speed to into the matters. As when Ahab was overtaken by Elijah because the hand of god was on Elijah, the hand of god will be demonstrated by speed in what we do.  He prayed that Go bless Africa with a blessing that will reverse the renown narrative Quoting Genesis 48: where Jacob bless young Ephraim and made him greater than his older brother Manasseh, he prayed that Africa will be blessed and the end will be better than  beginning and that  the reap will be better than.
