Exploring the Religion Sphere - What To Expect at 25?

Over the past quarter-century, Africa Haguruka conferences have consistently focused on the seven spheres of influence, driving impactful change across various sectors. This year, we return to the Religion Sphere, a cornerstone of our mission that has previously catalysed profound developments in the Kingdom of God. As we commemorate this significant milestone, we eagerly anticipate exploring fresh insights and strategies within this divine sphere.

Altars have long been symbols of covenant and dedication to God. These were places where individuals encountered the divine and renewed their commitment to God's will. Building altars to the Lord is not just about physical structures but creating a spiritual atmosphere where God’s presence can dwell.

This may  involve prioritising prayer and worship where we create an environment of continuous prayer and worship that invites God's presence, driving out darkness and regular, in-depth teaching of God’s Word equips believers to stand firm against spiritual attacks.

The rise of moral failures among church leaders has led to significant challenges, including loss of credibility and the weakening of faith communities. Addressing this issue requires a deep commitment to ethical behaviour, accountability, and continuous personal growth.
The integrity of church and ministry leaders is essential for the health of the body of Christ. To prevent moral failures, we need leaders who exemplify:  Leaders who live by biblical principles and exhibit transparency in their actions. Investing in leadership training, fostering accountability structures, and encouraging personal spiritual maturity are crucial steps in cultivating leaders who can effectively guide their communities and uphold their values.

The Bible underscores the profound significance of supporting Israel, a principle embraced by many African churches that recognize their deep spiritual and historical ties to the Jewish state. By forming partnerships with Israel, African churches not only honour these biblical connections but also actively participate in the fulfilment of prophetic scripture and the pursuit of global reconciliation and peace.
